Hakaral: an Icelandic rotten shark delicatecy. The flesh is set in a pit for 6-8 weeks then aired out for 2-4 months. It's served after the decay process because the shark meet is poisonous if served fresh causing humans to vommit blood after consumption. Shark meet is posisinous because they do not have urinary tracks and secrete their urine through skin causing an extremely high level of uric acid. Best served with potatoes.
I want to watch free willy. At the bodega on quincy and bedford I squeezed the gummy sharks and they were completely hard. I perfer them to gummy bears. More exciting and a sharper flavor. Like an attack on the tongue. I once found a gummy bear in my scooby snack.
